Long live the Sanfa Fe!  Contributor's Pick!
A pair of former AT&SF SD60Ms in Warbonnet paint switch tank cars at a foam plant on the Kimberly Industrial Lead in Fullerton. It took a lot of self disciplinary to not photo shop off the few BNSF markings that are on these units. #149 looks pretty good as it sits, and a little cloning on the "B" end of #104 with a swipe under the window would have just about done it.

Atlanta Rails General Very nice catch! Great to see these in such pristine condition, even if on a switch job. 2/24/2010 12:29:28 AM
El Roco Photography General ____Their utility on bumpy old industrial leads with jointed rails and sharp turnouts is what will keep them away from the scrapper's torch for now. 2/24/2010 1:28:02 AM
Southern Railroad General These things are only like 20 years old. but at the same time Fast intermodal service has historically been hell on any engines used for that purpose. So no suprise here that they have been demoted to switchers. they probabally arent great switchers at that. i would suspect that they are slow to load. 2/25/2010 3:05:41 PM
